meet me

Hi! I'm Lily, a student at CU Boulder. I'm a Creative Technology and Design major with a minor in Art Practices. My current focus is in graphic design and web design. I've been doing digital art for many years. I first fell in love with the medium when I was younger. A lot of artists that I looked up to online did digital art (fanart for anime I liked, mostly). When I was a freshman in high school, I bought myself a drawing tablet with the money I had earned from my first two jobs, and ever since then I've been a dedicated digital artist.

I've been doing digital art exclusively for about 6 years now. I specialize in digital illustration, and I have lots of experience in doing illustration commission work for clients. I love drawing things that I find pretty; I adore lavish detail and intricate design. What I find most enjoyable is character design! Making characters and writing about the worlds they inhabit has been a driving force for my art for a long time. I like incorporating aspects of my heritage into my character designs. Historical Chinese clothing is one of my focuses.
